NFL fans are angry about the penalties imposed by the Chiefs and Cowboys

What are the trends in today's sports world.

Another week, another suspicious taunting penalty appeared in the NFL. This time the Chiefs ran back to Clyde Edwards-Heller was the victim.

On the way to the penalty area, a second-year student at Louisiana State University pointed to a guard in Dallas. This seems to be enough to trigger the taunt sign.

Perhaps one of the most absurd mocking calls in the NFL this year. This says a lot.

Unlike the flag that flew after Cassius Marsh was fired, this appeal did not have much impact on the outcome. Having said that, for a very small gesture, this still seems to be an overreaction.

These mocking punishments are absurd

"These sarcastic penalties are absurd," a cowboy fan responded to the flag on Twitter.

In contrast, in the game against the Washington football team, after Cam Newton's second touchdown, Newton ran to midfield, put the ball on the 50 line, and performed his Superman celebration.

No flags were asked to mock.

Former Panthers offensive winger Jeff Schwartz pointed out the inconsistencies in the NFL.

Not a mockery... but bending towards the opponent's sideline should be sentenced to jail. I am very happy Cam celebrates. The NFL should allow players to express emotions. https://t.co/uNOueTizPk

"Not a mockery..." Schwartz wrote on Twitter. "But bending towards the opponent's sideline should be imprisonment."

He concluded: "I am satisfied with Cam's celebration. The NFL should allow players to express their emotions."

When taunting penalties, one thing the NFL has always insisted on is that they will continue to be called. Almost every week, a yellow flag is thrown on the court for "ridicule" in the name of preventing a fight on the court.
