Another classic Pokemon has gained a new form in the upcoming Nintendo Switch game.

Hisuian Voltorb is a grass/electric Pokémon, similar to the wooden pokeballs in the region.

Another new Pokemon in Pokemon Legend has been revealed: Arceus. The official Pokemon Twitter account shared a short game trailer, letting us see Hisuian Voltorb for the first time, which is a new regional variant of the classic monster.

Unlike those familiar to players who have used Voltorb for a long time, the Hisuian version is a grass/electric type, which is more similar to the original wooden pokeball used in the Hisui area. According to the official website of "Pokemon Legends", it stores seeds in its body and has a friendly personality, but it often discharges inadvertently when it is too excited.

Hisui is the feudal name of the Shen'ao region, the background of Pokémon's brilliant diamonds and sparkling pearls. As part of their journey in Pokemon Legends, players will travel through Hisui and catalog the first Pokedex in the region.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be launched on Nintendo Switch on January 28. Everyone who purchases the game before May 9 will be able to receive two in-game rewards: Hisuian Growlithe kimono set and the player character's Hisuian Zoroark mask.

Players who save other Pokemon game data on their console will also be able to get some other rewards. Those who have played Pokemon Sword or Shield can accept a unique mission to capture the mythical Pokemon Shaymin.
